    Abstract

    In the theoretical beginning of my diploma work I deal with the basic element of neurobiological development disorder called ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Looking back to the past ADHD was a group of problems discovered in the past, but there is still a difference in professional expressions. There is also presented the view of different authors in so far existing findings regarding the causes for ADHD. In the following chapter there are described the occurring forms or so to say the symptomatic – primary and thus secondary where there could be a chance of cooperation with social and special pedagogues. Showing the definition of the mentioned disorder (ICD-10, DSM-IV, the functional evaluation of behaviour and biopsychological interpretation of disorder in the childhood). Indicating possible forms dealed with the focus on an entire bio-psycho-social model. The focus is on the effect to children with ADHD in primary schools – to mention the possible forms of help, including a five step model of learning aid. In the empiric part information about experiences of social and special pedagogues have priority who work in primary schools in the region of Podravje, working with children who are showing behaviour and symptoms that are typical for ADHD. With a qualitative research it was found out that among the mentioned professional profiles giving additional professional help do not occur important differences according to the work characteristics with chosen children and that there are more contact points than differences in the social-pedagogical and special-pedagogical field.
