    Abstract

    This dissertation presents the film as a form of incentive to talks on partnership relations. The theoretical part presents definitions of the media in general; the film, its intentions and the relationship between the film and the viewer are defined through aspects of various authors. Furthermore, there are representations of the media education and the use of the film in interpersonal relations. This is followed by the presentation and definition of partnership relations, development and maintaining of these relations, conflicts and communication. The aim of the thesis is to present how to a group of pairs watching the movie helps to open topics related to partnership relations. The empirical, qualitative part of the thesis presents topics, which are linked to theoretical knowledge and are related to partner relationships and were in a group interview exposed and stressed by couples. Presented and analyzed are also ways in which interview participants talked about these topics and what the role of the film is. Watching films opened to partners a wide variety of topics relating to the partner relationship. The main ways in which partners talked about these topics, based on the film were: finding parallels between themselves and the film, citing as well as describing of certain scenes from the film. I have found this method being very useful in various contexts in social pedagogical work.
