    Abstract

The aim of this paper is to define youth prose and to describe characteristics of literary realism or realistic prose in contemporary children’s prose as well as to analyse the work of Desa Muck, namely her series Blazno resno. The paper presents the author Desa Muck, her life, biography and bibliography. The paper presents and analyse the series Blazno resno: Blazno resno o seksu, Blazno resno popolni, Blazno resno zadeti, Blazno resno slavni and Blazno resno o šoli. The books are analysed according to the following procedure: action development and protagonists, time and place, followed by analysis of the main topics and motifs. The discussed works deal with a growing young person, thus ethics and sexuality are important in this process and analysed in this paper. Sexuality appears in Muck's works either directly or indirectly, because it is presented through relationships among people. I used an extract from the book Blazno resno popolni during my pedagogical work in the Slovenian class. I performed the lesson in the 5th grade of primary school when discussing the topic of good manners.
