Abstract
Movement is one of the most important parts in the integral development of a child and thus their primary need. The child develops and strengthens the motor abilities and skills with suitable locomotive experiences. It is important to know them in order to act correctly and in time when deficits or deviations in the child’s movement are noticed. The characteristics of the development of the gross motor skills and its importance are presented in the theoretical part. The purpose of the master's thesis is to recognize the deviations in the motor development of a 5 and a half-year-old child with haemophilia and to create an individualized programme for the development of the gross motor skills. It was created on the basis of the specialised literature and the results of the initial measurement of motor skills. The important step in planning the programme was to make adjustments connected with the child’s disease. Test MOT 4-6 and ABC’s of movement questionnaire were used for the purpose of measurement. Based on the gathered quantity data of the initial and final measurement we analysed to what extent we contributed to the improvement of the child’s motor perception. The programme was implemented for four months, twice a week. The results of the measurement showed a minimal progress in the child's motor development. We noticed some qualitative improvements related mostly on the technique or the way of implementing a certain move, e.g. the throw of the ball, and functioning in everyday situations.
