    Abstract

    In the diploma thesis, the theory and case study examined the effectiveness of the sensory integration approach in art expression of a young girl with a sensory integration disfunction. It tries to find out how appropriate sensory strategies can be applied to art creation can contribute to reducing problems in the field of sensory integration. The study examines individual responses to the sensory sensation of selected art tasks with the introduction of sensory strategies. On the basis of theoretical starting points, such as the theory of sensory integration by Jean Ayres, the study focuses on the observation of individual sensory areas, in particular visual, tactile and olfactory, while at the same time an overall observation of the performance of art works is carried out.
