    Abstract

In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis is written about technical education in kindergarten, the emphasis is on the importance of selecting the technical activities and the goals that are set before the beginning of the activity. Goals were found and summarized in the Kurikulum for kindergartens. Before starting the activity in the kindergarten, we have set our own goals and tried to achieve them. In the following, we wrote about the children's play, since this is of key importance in early childhood. The choice of the toy that we offer to the child is important. A good didactic toy enables experimental learning. In the empirical part, we presented the results of the questionnaires with which we wanted to find out the opinions of the experts on the current state of the learning path Zlatorog's fairytale land, located in Bohinj. Learning pathway password of the fairyland is "Back to Nature". It is all based on natural materials and on learning of them through senses, movements, games. On the way through the path there are various activities offered to children and adults, many of which are technical. On the basis of the obtained proposals and taking into account the theory, we designed and constructed a didactic toy, two cubes that were placed in the learning pathway in order to improve the path and helping children learn. The diploma thesis enables understanding and proper usage of the added concept, which we critically evaluated. The cubes are different, they allow several different games and cover the curricular areas. They are suitable for children of the first and second age periods, as well as for younger school children. We have achieved the goals we have set, and we can also confirm the hypotheses. A didactic toy has reached its goal.
