    Good cooperation between the school and parents is an important part of educational process. Teachers often note, that children, who are just entering school, have different learning abilities. Namely, these are conditioned by the maturation processes. They cannot be influenced, as they are genetically determined, but they are more likely to be conditioned by the family’s learning resources. It is not that the children don’t learn at school, it is just that the children whose parents are very supportive, learn more. The child’s school performance is therefore correlated with their parents’ performance. My research is trying to prove the assumption, that the cooperation between the school and parents is essential for the child’s school performance. The sample included 5th and 6th grade students from Primary School Griže and Primary School Mozirje. The questionnaire used for the research was made on the basis of demographic variables of respondents, semantically different views and the student’s school performance, which will be measured by mode and median. We obtained parental permission and assured anonymity. We included different statistical methods for data processing by using statistical package SPSS, and we also checked the metric characteristics: validity, reliability, and objectivity. The research confirmed our hypothesis, that the respondents, regardless of their status, properly evaluate their relationship regarding other participants in the educational process. The results of my research show, that the teachers are more satisfied with the teacher - parent cooperation than the parents. The students were the most critical. Due to the very small differences, we can estimate, that all three participants were equally satisfied with the cooperation. The research shows, that students positively assessed the cooperation between their parents and their teachers. Parents weren’t so happy with the student - teacher collaboration, while the teachers have a negative opinion of the student - parent relationship. We were not able to confirm the hypothesis from the title of my master’s thesis. The sample was too small.
