    Abstract

    Pupils / students from the Albanian-speaking environment with difficulties in social integration are adolescents who, in addition to the usual problems, encounter a multitude of other problems that may sometimes represent difficulties even for the professionals, institutions and the existing system. The thesis explores suitability of approaches in the educational system for pupils / students who come from the Albanian-speaking environment. The research subjects are the causes for poor social integration of pupils / students in the educational system and to find an appropriate solution for each child / adolescent who comes from the Albanian-speaking environment with problems of social integration in order to ensure an adequate and appropriate help for him. In the theoretical part, I briefly discuss the educational system, migration in Slovenia, multiculturalism, integration of migrant children in the educational system, immigrants’ access to education in Slovenia, working with migrant children in the educational system as well as working with migrant children in the educational system in Europe as an example of good practice - Sweden. The empirical part consists of a qualitative research of four interviews (female students attending vocational school in Ljubljana). In this study I wanted to determine how the integration of the Albanian-speaking pupils / students in the school system works in practice, and at the same time I wanted to identify the system’s deficiencies. The results are interpreted by the content and concluded in the last part with my own proposals and measures on how I see the solutions of these problems.
