    Abstract

The purpose of the diploma thesis is to expose situation on the field of primary education in Slovenia for young migrants, who are old enough to fulfil primary education obligation, but did not complete primary school before leaving their country. I have focused on the population, aged between 15 and 24 years, that is the most vulnerable on the field of work. In theoretical part at first I talked about process of education and social inequality, that are also nowadays linked up in different ways. After that I focused on migrations, that bring many changes. Perseverance and patience are needed and are very important to be positive for migrants and for society. Therefore, we have to offer migrants chances for successful integration not just in theory, but also in practice. One of the key components of successful integration is inclusion in educational process, especially for individuals, who have not completed primary school. The only possiblity to gain primary education in Slovenia is primary school for adults. In the empirical part I represent the results of qualitative research. I was interested in, how young migrants experience the existent form of education. There are many facts that influence their motivation to include in educational process. Some of them are stimulating for them, others are obstructive. We need more variegated offer of educational options in Slovenia to content their needs and consider life situation. They think that the possible inclusion in programme Project learning for young adults as useful, especially because of the language, meeting new people and gaining different skills. Inclusion in programme does not effect just young migrants, but also other users. We can act preventive with connecting different organisations and we can reestablish intercultural dialogue between majority and minority in the society.
