    Abstract

The modern world is becoming more and more complex and harder to understand. Poverty, unemployment, exploitation of nature and society represent a big part of global problems, that are created by a modern economic-political system. Through the historical insight I therefore analyse its formation, development and the inner workings of a system. The aim is to construct a simplified model of the economic-political system, where we could through computer simulation examine the laws of its operation and consequences. The purpose of the model is the verification of socio-critical solutions or alternatives by the means of introduction of a certain modification to the system and observation of its influence. Such model serves also as a framework for educational game, designed to help the player understand the functioning of such a system and the role of science and technology in it.
