    Educational games and tools often occur in teaching preparation of teachers, especially special education teachers, who work with students individualy. According to educational tools, which are commonly used in schools, the majority is made on a way, which does not promote moving but are beeing used in sitting position. In my thesis I will present didactic tool »Letter park«, which I developed for connecting curriculum based learning and movement. "Letter park" mainly focuses on the development of reading and writing. Reading comprises an important part of human functioning, both in childhood and in adulthood. In childhood, it is important to read due to the expansion of vocabulary, acquiring new information and language development, which greatly affect the quality of life of an adult. The quality of reading development is reflected in primary school, when students need to learn to know how to read and in adulthood, when the literacy is required in a day to day life. In the theoretical part of the thesis, there are exposed skills, that are needed for successful learning of reading and writing. These skills are phonological awareness, vocabulary, reading fluency and reading comprehension. It also presents learning difficulties, specifically outlining the learning difficulties in reading and writing, and how the problem shows in fields of phonological awareness, vocabulary, reading fluidity and reading comprehension. There are also described some high-risk groups of children, which have greater likelihood of having problems. The following part describes the impact of movement on the healthy development of the child and how movement affects learning. The second part of the thesis presents a teaching aid or didactic game »Letter park”. The presentation includes a description of the device, the purpose and objective of the device, and methods of application. It is presented as part of the study, which describes how the device is "LETTER park" effect on the development of the movement. Also included are examples of tasks and issues pertaining to the device.
