Abstract
In this degree we are discussing about leisure activities, which play an important role in our lives. They influence our health, well being and socialisation. We focused on the free time of adventitiously blind elderly (retired) people, because they have more free time after the retirement, but can not fully enjoy it because of the vision loss. With the overview of the literature we explored the impact that the adventitious blindnes has on leisure activities of elderly (retired) people with gained vision loss in later life. We have also explored factors that influence selection of leisure activities by adventitiously blind elderly, as well as the role of rehabilitation teachers have in order to help people with vision impairments to overcome these limitations. We have also explored which leisure activities do adventitiously blind elderly participate in the most.
