    Abstract

The ageing period brings different changes and new tasks an older person has to face on personal as well as on social level. Age is a life period we all want to await but on the other side we are a bit afraid of it. In our modern society the ageing period is still a bit taboo even if the lifespan is longer and number of older people is on the increase all over the world. But the question where to live in the ageing period or how to live is still unaswered. It is the question that bothers me as well so I decided to interview four elderly persons, two of them live in the elderly home, whereas the other two live at their own home. The interview consisted of questions covering 9 different areas in order to get the difference between their life experience. We are aware of the fact that life at home is different from life in an elderly home. The results show that these four people being interviewed are in medium good or quite good condition (based on arithmetic average). All four had the same answer concerning the place where they wanted to be in the ageing period. At their own home of course.
